■Description:

• This charming hachiware cat has a gentle, calming presence, watching over your room with its bright, expressive black eyes. Its black tail moves like a second hand, adding a playful touch to the design.

  Traditionally, Lucky Cats raise either their right hand to invite good fortune and money, or their left hand to invite people.
  This cat raises both hands, bringing you the best of both—prosperity and good relationships.

  It makes a wonderful gift or anniversary item. A hook is attached to the back, allowing you to hang it on the wall with ease.

  Each piece is carefully handmade and hand-painted by Seto ware craftsman Kiyotaka Yamazaki, the owner of Craft Yuu-Ki in Seto City, Japan.
  Craft Yuu-Ki means “Eternal Seasons,” reflecting the artisan’s wish to create pieces that bring lasting joy.

  Seto ware, with over 1,000 years of history, is one of Japan’s oldest pottery traditions. Even today, around 200 kilns and many artisans continue to produce beautiful ceramics in Seto City.
